BEFORE YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE
Good questions.
Clear answers.
What is free, what is ready, and how your guide gets from the browser to the game.
What is ForeverRestWoW?
An independent leveling guide project for World of Warcraft: Forever. It combines a free in-game guide reader with a website library and route builder.
Is the addon free?
Yes. The tracker, waypoint arrow, importer, and optional quest handling are free. You can write and import your own guide data. The planned one-time purchase is for our authored Alliance and Horde guide pack, not for unlocking addon controls.
Is there a complete free 1–15 guide?
Not yet. The current published content is a six-step Northshire sample. Free authored guides through level 15 are the planned starting tier. Longer routes will be listed only after they have been written and tested.
Can I use it in World of Warcraft: Forever?
Forever is the target, but the current addon preview uses a Classic Era API baseline. It still needs verification in the actual Forever client. Quest IDs, map coordinates and client features must be checked; changing a version number does not make an addon compatible.
Do I need a website account?
No account is required to download the addon or copy the free sample. Website accounts will manage your guide library and saved creator work. Discord and Battle.net sign-in appear when those account services are connected.
Does the addon ask for my Battle.net password?
Never. Website sign-in sends you to the provider’s own login page. The addon reads local guide data inside the game and does not ask for website credentials or handle payments.
How much will the guide pack cost?
The planned price is €20 once, with a €15 launch offer. One pack will cover both Alliance and Horde. There is no subscription or monthly renewal. Free authored guides through level 15 remain the plan. The pack is not on sale yet; exact coverage, purchase terms and distribution requirements must be confirmed before payments open.
Do I need to keep paying to use an imported guide?
The planned guide pack is a one-time purchase. The addon reads local guide data offline; a website cannot remotely remove a route already imported into your game. The pack is not available to buy yet, and its included content and update terms will be published before launch.
How do I import a guide?
Copy its import string from your website library. In game, while out of combat, enter /frw import, paste the string and confirm. Imports contain guide data; they are not executable Lua scripts.
Can I write my own route?
Yes. Use the browser route builder to arrange quest steps and coordinates, then export your guide. The sandbox works without an account. Saving to the shared catalog and publishing require an authorized creator or admin account.
Does it play the game for me?
No. You move your character and choose what to do. Optional quest assistance only handles matching quest interactions, can be disabled, and is bypassed while Shift is held. Combat restrictions and client API rules still apply.
Where is the CurseForge release?
The project is being prepared for submission. No listing is published yet. The download page will link to the official project after compatibility testing and approval.
